I’m proud to endorse Gulf War combat veteran George Stewart to be the next Gainesville District supervisor. I trust George to lead the fight on the Board of County Supervisors against the PW Digital Gateway and data center sprawl in general while maximizing the tax rates on the ones that are already here. He’ll work to keep the budget and your property tax rates under control; support veterans, federal workers, county employees; and prioritize prevention services for poverty, addiction, hunger and human trafficking. In the Navy, George served with people from all walks of life. That’s why he understands public safety is for everyone, including immigrants, LGBTQIA+ people, the disabled and others currently being targeted by the very politicians elected to serve them. George is the inclusive leader we need representing the 10th most diverse county in the country and I ask you to vote for him between Sept. 19 and Nov. 4, 2025.
