GEORGE ON THE ISSUES
Explore the vital issues shaping our community and how George Stewart plans to address them.

01
Stop Unchecked Spread of Data Centers
George opposes the unchecked expansion of data centers in Gainesville and across Prince William County. These facilities strain our infrastructure, disrupt neighborhoods, and threaten the environment, all for corporate gain. As Supervisor, he'll fight against new proposals in Gainesville, push for stronger zoning protections, and ensure land use decisions prioritize residents, not developers.
02
Smart and Sustainable Growth
Growth is inevitable, but how we grow matters. George's experience as a successful entrepreneur and investor has taught him how to build with vision and purpose. He will advocate for clean, well-paying jobs, targeted investments in local infrastructure, and development that reflects the values of the community. From broadband access to walkable neighborhoods, we must plan growth that supports both innovation and livability.

03
Attainable
Housing
Too many families are being priced out of the communities they call home. As a former financial consultant who has helped individuals and families meet long-term goals, he understands the importance of economic stability. George will support housing policies that prioritize accessibility for working families, seniors, and young professionals, ensuring that those who grow up here can stay here and thrive.
04
Ensuring a Safe
Community
Safety starts with support. As a U.S. Navy veteran and former member of the NYPD Citizens Police Academy, he believes in a holistic approach to public safety. He will fight for expanded access to mental health care, more youth engagement programs, fighting the opioid epidemic, and real solutions to food insecurity. We must strengthen the foundation of our community so that every resident feels secure, seen, and supported.
